Overall Rayman Redemption, while not 100% faithful to the original game, is a great way to the original Rayman, with all of Redemption's additions making it a much more accessible and enjoyable experience.But be ready, because it’s about 12 hours long in total … and as expected from Ryemanni, it’s more 10 hours of memes and screaming and 2 hours of actual trivia. Rayman Redemption adds many new features, such as a shop and a casino, where you can spend your tings to unlock a variety of new rewards, primarily new cosmetics in the form of skins, however there are also a couple new permanent upgrades such as a magnet that attracts nearby tings to you. Rayman Redemption opts to change Betilla's role, she no longer provides you with permanent ability upgrades, in Redemption Rayman has all of his abilities from the start, instead Betillia provides Rayman with health upgrades in exchange for breaking cages and freeing Electoons. ![]() The bosses in Rayman are all typically multiple phases, with each phase gradually introducing more and more mechanics and gaining in difficulty, the bosses will all test your skills and your endurance. This can be seen mostly in the boss fights, while they are all still the same bosses seen in the original Rayman, albeit a little more fair, they are all still challenging and unique with each having their own identity both in how they attack and in how you attack them. Although reworked to be less unfair and more balanced, Redemption is still an inherently difficult game. bosses having unfair unpredictable attacks are altered to be a touch more forgiving. Rayman is a game that is known for it's difficulty and that difficulty is still mostly present in Redemption, although it is smoothed out a little with many inherently unfair things being reworked and rebalanced, e.g. The core gameplay of Rayman Redemption is mostly what you would expect from that of Rayman, platforming your way though a variety of different locations, and breaking cages, except the movement and physics are now tighter and more responsive making for a more enjoyable experience. Being a reimagining of Rayman, Rayman Redemption features the same array of unique and varied world themes seen in the original, but expands upon the original, adding new areas within each world to explore. 60% PCRayman Redemption is a fan reimagining of the original Rayman, featuring many improvements and new additions such as widescreen support, new & reworked levels, multiple difficulty options, minigames, and improved physics.
